Our Mission

AgTrim exists to make Leucaena management easier, cheaper, and more efficient for graziers. Leucaena is one of the most productive forage shrubs available for cattle grazing, and its productivity is maximised when it is trimmed regularly. We design equipment that makes that routine maintenance practical with the machinery graziers already own.

With a background in mechanical engineering and hands‑on experience in agricultural machinery, we focus on solutions that are simple, durable, and suited to agricultural environments. Our offset slasher mounting system is built from robust structural steel and integrates seamlessly with common tractors and rotary slashers.

We developed AgTrim to address the real limitations graziers face: tractor damage from woody stems, slow manual trimming, and the high cost of contractor‑only machinery. Our system provides a stable, cost‑effective way to maintain Leucaena year after year.

James Barrett

James grew up on a grazing property in Central Queensland before studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Queensland. He has worked as a Mechanical Engineer in the mining industry since 2021.
